Stanislava Grebeníčková (1954) APERTURE

The author's jewelry work is based on her original training as a glass artist. That is why glass has become the main material for her brooches. It allows her to do things that other materials do not. The author works with illusory spatiality, optical effects, reflections, gloss, matte finishes, translucency, and transparency. She creates minimalist compositions based on the reflection of a black mirror, combined with contrasting materials such as natural minerals, colored glass, or imitation minerals such as aventurine, agate, etc.
