Richard Konvička (1957 - 2021) AT NIGHT

Richard Konvička's work took shape in the 1980s and subsequently gained valuable momentum through a scholarship from The Pollock-Krasner Foundation. His strokes became clearer in the US, more striking and charged with new energy. He uses simple symbols and gestures as a means of expression, often painting at night and for hours every day. He stayed away from fashionable trends and created an interesting collection of paintings that function as strong individualities in space.
