Marek Mudra (1973) RELIQUIARY "HEDGEHOG"

Marek Mudra is a graduate of the High School of Restoration in Písek. He works as a restorer. He also applies artistic craftsmanship techniques in his creative work. The object, inspired by cabinets of curiosities, belongs to a series of reliquaries and depicts a heraldic hedgehog and the "remains" of its master in a reliquary. The work is primarily intended to raise questions about the age of the artifact and its purpose. The head is made and preserved from orange peel.
