Otto Gutfreund's figures gradually transform into shapes, hints, and a few lines, which are part of the process of creating his cubist forms. Otto Gutfreund's supremely cubist form represents the imaginary peak he reached before World War I. Inspired by Picasso and Braque, he carefully breaks down curves and models figures in a thoughtful stylization. The work comes from the heirs of Otto Gutfreund's estate.
