Just as his brother Ján preferred scenes from contemporary life in Stupava, Ferdiš also focused on the people and life of his native village. Together with his sister Mária, they designed group series depicting several figures engaged in work and leisure activities. His ceramic sculptures earned him a diploma of recognition at the 1927 World Exhibition in Paris. Excellent condition.
