Malich's approaches became fundamental points in the development of contemporary Czech art. He created his own symbolic language, which is the result of philosophical and spiritual research, introspection, and memories. The landscape imprinted in his childhood memory became his inner world, and the rounded lines, canonical for his work, formed a system of characteristic features with which he described not the landscape he saw, but the landscape that took place within him.
