Bohuslav Reynek (1892 - 1971) TREES ALONG THE ROAD

Bohuslav Reynek extensively experimented with the possibilities of dry needling. He often bought old and used plates and used their marks from previous use as focal points when creating graphics. He took them with him to the plain air, where he sketched directly on them with a pencil. He recorded the landscape around Petrkova with the consistency of a documentarian, but he also imprinted his mood and feeling into each graphic.
