Vladimír Komárek (1928 - 2002) BIRD AND A BOOK

Vladimír Komárek did not subordinate his art to the fluctuations of the time - that is why he was sometimes called avant-garde, sometimes conservative. It would be more accurate to say that his work forms a consistent whole, which corresponds to his inner human sensitivity, reconciliation and quiet comfort, without any tense drama or artistic exhibitionism. He made do with simple subjects and created a quiet painterly, deeply spiritual world.
