Genre allegorical painting with the motif of the pursuit of happiness - personified flying happiness holding a crown stylized in the spirit of Italian seicento, quotation on porcelain after a painting by Rudolf Henneberg (1825-1876), 1868. In a romantic landscape with a neo-Gothic castle, a nobleman on horseback on a narrow bridge pursues the mirage of Fortuna in the form of a nymph, closely followed by Death on a black horse, a good spirit in the form of a girl lying on the ground. Sceptre mark, KPM - (Königliche Porzellan Man., Berlin).
