František Hudeček's work is distinctive for its intellectual and socially-reflective level. In the 1930s, he became acquainted with Teig, Toyen, Štyrský and E.F. Burian and turned to surrealism. Through art, he looked at the new - developing world and adapted contemporary styles. In his compositions we find a certain amount of skepticism and gloominess, which are connected with his perception of irreversible fate. He shared an interest in organic machines with his friend František Gross. He often walked alone in the metropolis at night, and many of his works were also created during the night hours. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
