The sought-after and often reproduced subjects depict cats in funny situations with human props, which they handle in a typically feline manner - knocking over baskets, peering into aquariums, leaving traces in the paint, tangling themselves in balls. The light-hearted subjects are painted in exemplary academic handwriting; he studied at the Academy in Graz and lived and gained experience in Munich, Rome and Vienna.
