Although the Saudek brothers' work is individual, it also finds its intersections. The bond that exists between the twins cannot be ignored. Both brothers - Jan and Kája were passionate admirers of the female body and managed to record it masterfully. Malva is Kája's drawing counterpart to his brother Jan's photograph "Desire No. 164", where a woman is ecstatically writhing in a tense pose on the ground in front of a famous window in Saudek's studio. The duality of the motif has thus manifested itself both artistically and photographically, only the message is slightly different. While Jan's model closes her eyes, Kaja's stares defiantly and jokingly in front of her with her eyes open. Kája Saudek, real name Karel Saudek, was a Czech painter and comic book artist. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
