Vladimír Boudník (1924 - 1968) WOMAN, FRESCO

In the collections of Jan Placák and Zdeněk Sklenář there were identical prints marked "P.F.1961". The graphic works of 1960 contain figures and abstractions that were considered degenerate Western art. Boudník thus aroused the interest of art historians. He began to break formats and break out of the rectangular framework of the matrices, adjusting the surface with sand and glued-on scraps of fabric. Each print is thus original in its own way. The numbered print 9/20 comes from the collection of Antonín Hartmann. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
