Eliška Rožátová (1940) PETER WENT TO HEAVEN

Eliška Rožátová studied at the Secondary Industrial School of Glass, Železný Brod and then went on to the University of Applied Arts in Prague in the studios of Josef Kaplický and Stanislav Libenský. She dealt with mosaics, stained glass and design glass and her paintings are found sporadically on the market. Her innovative works respond to natural processes, combining materials and their expressiveness. She has created many important realizations in public space. The presented light painting composition is a tribute to the artist Petr Šmaha.
