Alena Antonová (1930 - 2021) GIRL WITH A BIRD

 Alena Antonová, a Czech painter and graphic artist, studied at UMPRUM Prague from 1949 to 1955 under Prof. Emil Filla, whose influence remained a key inspiration in her work. Throughout her life, she remained faithful to her expressive form and recurring themes, such as the female figure, often accompanied by a cat or dog, still lifes, and folk songs. An analogous sheet was part of the Mělník Salon in 2015 at the Ve Věži Gallery.
