The sculpture of a woman's head (Lívia) by the renowned Czech Art Deco sculptor Jaroslav Horec dates from the artist's early period. He created this sculpture in a number of sizes and materials: glazed ceramics, fired clay, bronze, Carrara marble, and pear wood. The carved wood version, Lívia, was exhibited in 1935 at Mánes at the jubilee exhibition celebrating 50 years of artistic work. The dimensions listed include the pedestal. This is a later cast.
