Painting of the Madonna and Child Jesus in an ornamental Baroque frame with gilded volutes. The stylization shows German influence, and the iconography is based on the famous miraculous painting of the Virgin Mary of Passau by Lucas Cranach the Elder, which has become an iconic subject throughout Tyrol.
