MOROCCAN NESTING TABLES

A set of three rectangular nesting tables that can be slid under each other. The construction of the tables is simple, but the decoration is extremely rich – the surface is covered with geometric and star-shaped ornaments made of light bone and mother-of-pearl, set in a dark wooden base. The tops are decorated with a composition of polygonal fields and stars, the edges lined with small inlaid decoration. The legs of the tables are emphasized by vertical strip decoration with contrasting ornamentation. Excellent condition.
