The sculpture Venus, which dates back to 1924, is one of Horec's most widespread female nudes. Until the 1940s, it was produced in a number of sizes and materials and ranks among his two most popular decorative sculptures. There is a drawing of this version dated 1924. The dimensions given include the pedestal.
