František Jiroudek (1914 - 1991) PARISIAN BEGGARS

František Jiroudek is represented in the Czech Museum of Fine Arts in Prague, the National Gallery in Prague, the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Lyngby Town Hall in Denmark, and the Art Gallery in Toronto. At first, he focused mainly on portraits, nudes, figural compositions, and landscapes. These were medium and smaller formats. The figural motifs use impressive smooth transitions that evoke the impression of movement and theatrical lighting.
