Jan Zrzavý anchored the architectural elements of the composition with firm contour lines and immersed them in subtle pastel transitions. He liked to return to the theme of Venice and compose a lyrical world beyond the reach of everyday life, where he preserved precious experiences. The carefully thought-out compositions are executed with brilliant artistic brevity.
