CHEST OF DRAWERS FROM THE BIEDERMEIER PERIOD

A simple, elegant Biedermeier chest of drawers standing on low, curved legs. The front is divided into two drawers at the top and a lower cabinet with doors. The distinctive grain of the walnut wood gives the furniture a decorative character, yet it remains moderate and restrained in the spirit of Biedermeier. The corners are slightly rounded and decorated with delicate carvings. Good condition.
