Inspiration from Chinese and Japanese art in Europe began with imports from these countries in the 17th century. At the beginning of the 18th century, attempts were made to imitate entire architectural structures (pavilions, pagodas), materials, techniques, and decor. These include, for example, Delft pottery, Meissen porcelain, French Rococo furniture, and painting. The Baroque cabinet, probably of German origin, is decorated with impasto painting adorned with brass elements. Very good condition.
