Franziska Romana Jaksch von Wartenhorst, a student of Hugo Steiner and Emil Orlik, studied etching under Prof. Ludwig Michalik at the Graphic Arts Teaching and Research School in Vienna from 1916 to 1919. She created graphic prints in the Art Nouveau style; most of her works on the market are ex libris, with fewer larger prints.
