Alois Moravec (1899 - 1987) ON THE FIELD

Alois Moravec's main source of inspiration was the countryside and events taking place there, the Czech landscape, and occasionally he also painted still lifes. He worked as a painter, graphic artist, illustrator, and teacher, and studied at UMPRUM and AVU. The presented work shows a freer brushstroke and is created in a more lively and impressive manner than most of the motifs documenting work in the fields.
