Karel Jan Sigmund left behind an extensive landscape work, which mainly mapped the landscapes and people of Eastern Bohemia. He painted around Humpolec, in Ronovsko, Slánsko, in the vicinity of Hlinsko and depicted the landscape and its luminosity with almost documentary precision.
