František Vít Blažek was a Czech painter, illustrator, stage designer, and graphic artist. He studied at M. Malina's painting school, the Ukrainian Academy of Fine Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts under O. Nejedlý, and under F. Tröster at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He taught at the vocational school of sculpture and stonemasonry in Hořice.
