A painting in the spirit of the Italian school with a penitential motif of Saint Peter, stylistically reminiscent of some compositions by Italian painters, the author probably followed up on their work. A comparable treatment of the typical features of the face is presented in the book by Pavel Preiss, Vaclav Vavrinec Reiner, reproduction number 166 - Emperor Maxentius with his retinue. Rentoiled.
