Karel Jan Sigmund left behind an extensive body of landscape work, which mainly mapped the landscapes and people of eastern Bohemia. He painted around Humpolec, in the Ronov and Slánsko regions, around Hlinsko, and in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands.
