CUP AND SAUCER BŘEZOVÁ

The painted decoration of red and white flowers on a royal blue background is complemented by fine and rich gilding. The edges of the cup and saucer are adorned with modest relief decoration, highlighted with gold paint. In terms of both form and ornamentation, this cup stylistically aligns with the emerging Second Rococo period. Manufactured by the Březová porcelain manufactory.

Damage: partially worn gilding.
