Cup standing on three sculpted, gilded lion’s paw feet with a prominent volute handle, the ornamentation rendered in gold. The outer surface is decorated with a meticulously hand-painted bouquet of roses in various colors. The top and bottom edges are bordered with fine gold lines. The interior of the cup is adorned with a wide gilded band. The saucer is styled to match—the central painting features a multicolored bouquet of roses, encircled by a gold border. Produced by the Meissen porcelain manufactory.

Damage: minor abrasions to the gilding; some areas of gilding have been restored.
