Cup with a fixed moustache guard insert. The decoration is modest, featuring the monogram JS in a stylized scrollwork script, surrounded by rich scroll ornamentation. A thin gold line adorns the rims of both the cup and the insert. The handle is gilded.

Damage: abrasions and wear to the gilding.
