Cup with a geometrically shaped handle, accompanied by a lid topped with a sculpted, gilded finial in the form of a pinecone (or possibly an artichoke). The entire surface of the cup, lid, and saucer is hand-painted in a soft pink hue. The upper rims of the cup and lid, as well as the rim of the saucer, are adorned with a rich ornamental gilded band featuring classicizing motifs—laurel branches and golden olives on a white background—accented with a glossy gold line. The center of the saucer is decorated with a white medallion bearing a gilded motif. The overall character of the set is highly refined and representative, emphasizing clean geometric lines, noble coloring, and Empire-style decoration. Produced by the Sorgenthal-era Vienna porcelain manufactory.

Damage: areas of worn paint and gilding.
