BIEDERMEIER GOBLET

Goblet made of clear glass with a foot, yellow lazure along the rim and around the medallion, decoration painted with Schwarzlot, in the medallion a portrait of a lady painted in transparent colours. The foot is finely cut; on the reverse side, a concave ground area allows the medallion to be viewed in miniature. Defect: small abrasions in the painting of the decor and portrait.
