Small handleless chinoiserie cup. Painted in a carmine tone, the stylized floral still-life decoration evokes the later Meissen underglaze onion pattern style. The cup is adorned with a vegetal garland along the inner rim and a small painted detail at the bottom. The saucer follows the same style, with its edge decorated by a geometric band of stylized flowers with gilded centers. Produced by the Meissen porcelain manufactory.

Damage: abrasions to the gilding and color, minor chips on the cup.
