CUP WITH SAUCER SLAVKOV

Cup with a sculpted volute handle featuring a gilded decorative accent. The outer surface of the cup is richly adorned with hand-painted oval medallions framed in gold, set against a white ground with pink bands and lace-like decoration. Two main cartouches display colorful bouquets of various flowers, while the surrounding panels are decorated with pink and white floral motifs and stylized ribbons. Both the upper rim and the foot are highlighted with glossy gilding. The saucer is decorated with a gilded central medallion and a broad wreath of stylized vegetal ornaments in gold, green, and blue. Produced by the Horní Slavkov porcelain manufactory.

Damage: partially worn gilding in places.
