DECORATIVE BOWL SLAVKOV

A porcelain bowl on a richly shaped base, executed in a distinctly Rococo Revival style. The deep, shell-shaped bowl is mounted on a foot adorned with sculpted scrolls, stylized leaves, and applied flowers. Exterior: raised gilding combined with delicate brushwork decoration, sculpted and painted flowers including roses, and leafy motifs. Interior: finely painted gilt vegetal motif in a fan-shaped composition with floral ornaments. The upper rim is undulating and heavily gilded. Produced by the Horní Slavkov porcelain manufactory.

Damage: areas of worn gilding, small chips on the flowers.
