GOBLET FROM THE TABLE SERVICE OF T.G.MASARYK

Goblet on a tall, faceted-cut stem and foot. The bowl features an engraved ornament and the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic held by two lions, with the inscription PRAVDA ZVÍTĚZÍ ("Truth Prevails") below. The underside of the bowl is also faceted. The goblet is from the table service used in the presidential salon train of Tomáš G. Masaryk.
