KIDS WITH A BIRD CAGE MEISSEN

The porcelain group depicts a boy and a girl in elegant rural attire standing side by side in an idyllic scene. The girl holds a floral garland in her lap. Between them is a stylized birdcage – a symbol of tenderness, love, and fragility.
The oval base is decorated with gilding and a raised relief border, featuring an elevated plinth and applied details such as flowers, a basket, a tree stump, and branches. Made by the Meissen porcelain manufactory.

Damage: chipped leaves on the tree stump.
