Porcelain plate, probably from the Qing dynasty, decorated with overglaze polychrome painting in the palette of the so-called Famille rose. At the center of the plate is a small circular medallion depicting a natural scene – a river, a bird, and a flower. The surrounding surface is divided into four segments: two opposing segments feature figurative scenes with family members dressed in shades of pink, blue, and green; the other two show birds, plants, flowers, and fruit in vibrant tones of pink, yellow, green, and other colors. The segments are separated by vertical bands with vegetal scrollwork in pink and green hues. The composition corresponds to decorative conventions of porcelain from the late Qianlong period or the subsequent 19th century.

Defect: paint wear.
