PLATE SLAVKOV

Porcelain plate with two symmetrically placed handles. The central area is defined by a double circle. The overglaze decoration features elements of the popular chinoiserie style – two stylized oriental figures in exotic garments and two brightly colored exotic birds perched on tree branches. The painting is executed in vivid, glossy colors: pink, purple, turquoise, yellow, and green. The rim of the plate is highlighted with gilded lines, as are the handles, which are slightly raised in relief. Produced by the Horní Slavkov porcelain manufactory.

Defect: gilding partially worn.
