TEA SET SLAVKOV

Tea set consisting of two cups, a teapot with lid, a milk jug with lid, and a sugar bowl with lid. The formal design of this set ranks among the most elegant examples in the realm of historical Czech porcelain, with its shape scheme reflecting the functionally oriented types of English tea sets from the late 18th century. The entire set is richly decorated with golden stylized vegetal ornamentation on a pink background. The floral decoration follows a refined and elegant style, featuring bouquets of flowers, garlands, scrolls, and acanthus leaves.

Defect: areas of worn gilding.
