Footed cup with an elegantly shaped handle. The exterior surface of both the cup and saucer is richly covered with full-surface gilding, upon which hand-painted pink rose blossoms with leaves are delicately arranged. Each flower is finely shaded, and the overall composition appears light and rhythmic. This technique was highly demanding and typically reserved for exceptional pieces intended for display or representation. Produced by the Sorgenthal-era Vienna porcelain manufactory.

Damage: minor abrasions to the gilding in some areas.
