BIEDERMEIER GLASS

Glass made of clear glass with painted portrait of Francis I./II. in frame with yellow glaze inscribed Kaiser Franz, medallion surrounded by painted wreath in gold, gilt rim. A ground lens opposite the portrait. Cut foot. Provenance: Justa's collection. Defect: almost worn gilding of the edge.
