A richly modeled Rococo-style figural group depicting three winged putti. One is seated at a table with a marble-style top, another stands with a blindfold over his eyes, and the third sits on the ground with an open book and inkwell. On the table are small sticks or cubes – possibly a reference to a game or fate. The blindfolded figure evokes themes of chance, justice, or blind love; the book and inkwell symbolize knowledge.
The piece features finely detailed modeling of wings and hairstyles, gilding, and an ornamental base with scrollwork, shell-like forms, and foliage.
Produced by the Meissen porcelain manufactory.
