From the assessment by PhDr. Naděžda Blažíčková-Horová: "The original Baroque pilgrimage chapel of John of Nepomuk was built in 1722-1723, two years after his beatification. A hundred years later, Count František Antonín I. Thun-Hohenstein had a family tomb built under the chapel, which was consecrated in 1835. However, the construction of the tomb severely compromised the stability of the chapel, which had to be demolished in 1868. Before its demolition, Count Thun-Hohenstein asked Bedřich Havránek to document it in paintings."
