The two spring chairs with armrests with the model number H-80 are the work of the prominent designer and architect Jindřich Halabala, who began working for the United Art Industrial Works in Brno in 1928 and became its company architect in 1930. It was also at this time that tubular furniture began to attract a wider range of customers and became fashionable. Nevertheless, it was not a mass production and only a limited number of models were made. The H-80 model is Halabal's own interpretation of the classic two-legged chair. The whole is a composition of the line of the chrome mirrored tube and the flats of the stretched yarn. The chair thus impresses with its avant-garde formal austerity. Very good state of preservation with the original fabric, which is not preserved in most models. Reproduced: CHATRNÝ, Jindřich, KOUDELKOVÁ, Dagmar and ŠIMKOVÁ, Anežka.
