This rare miniature of an Empire secretary probably comes from the famous Viennese workshop of Joseph Ulrich Danhauser, founded in 1814. It was one of the first Viennese firms to deal with interior decoration. The furniture model is made to the smallest detail, including a lockable hinged top, behind which is a set of small drawers and a mirror. Excellent state of preservation.
