The sculptural study of a Japanese woman for the House of Silk in Prague was designed by Otto Gutfreund, a founding figure of Czech modern sculpture, whose work still enjoys unceasing collector interest, and who is one of our most important sculptors of international importance. The sculpture on offer includes Gufreund's original watercolour study for display at the Silk House in Prague. The work comes from the artist's heirs.
