The display cabinet, with Waigant's signature decorative style at the crossroads of the exuberant French and Kotér's Bohemian Art Nouveau, consists of a total of two lower drawers and a glazed display cabinet with three shelves, flanked by two columns. A prominent feature is the bronzed carvings inspired by non-European cultures close to those of Africa. The architect and designer, Bohumil Waigant, was one of the most important pupils of Jan Kotěra, together with Josef Gočár. Worth mentioning are the architect's projects in Hradec Králové (Card House, Juliš House and Tesař Villa) and the facades of many houses in Prague's Vinohrady district. He collaborated on his projects with his brother Antonín Waigant, whereupon both brothers were allowed to design houses with complete interior furnishings down to the smallest detail. Excellent condition.
